Im with the other guys on this one.... get the Eibachs.....

I got the Eibach Pro Kit.... I love em too! And yes I STILL had to have some CC plates. With any 1 to 1.5 inch drop the need for CC plates are hit and miss. I just happened to need em cuz After I installed my springs I took it to get it alligned and they couldnt do it. I ended up with the Maximum Motorsports plates. Im getting better tire ware than I have ever got on any vehichle I have ever owned!

I got the pro-kit but I still have to get C/C plates. It just depends on whether or not you can get it within specs again after you drop it.

but yes, GT springs will work, but you won't get as much of a drop in front, because they are stiffer to support the weight of the extra two cylinders. It won't be a huge difference tho.

If you wanna see pics of my drop (i removed all iso's too) just click this link.

Your going to find that most guys around here will either lean towards eibach, or a coil over kit, which can be anywhere from a thousand dollars up.

Joparrett is a perfect example of what to expect out of the pro kit, and AtlanticBlue99 is the perfect example of what to expect out of the sportline. I'm still stuck between the 2, haha.

well if u want the car to sit super low then go ahead and spend the extra money to get the sportlines or even coil overs. if u just want a decent drop that gives it a more aggressive look and handle then get the pro kit...i have the prokit and i love it.

o im not saying anything bad about the sportlines at all. imo it looks really good. the extra cost i was talking about is buying the cc plates.

It smart to shell out the extra $150-200 for them anyways. Better to spend that now then 400 evern 3 months on new front tires, haha.

I got the same drop that a sportlines gives just by taking out my iso's. But I left one iso in the back for a rake

I have one finger-width between my front tire and fender well... I wouldn't want it any lower...

I have to buy c/c plates with my pro-kit. Ford couldn't get it within spec, or close to it even. This could be due to my lack of iso's lol

with pro-kit's, if you have your iso's in, most people can get the alignment within spec using stock plates.

plus with sportlines, you will need shocks/struts because they have a higher spring rate. It would be dangerous to run them with stock dampening. Whereas with the prokit, the spring rate is very close to stock and it isn't necessary to replace shocks/struts, IMO.

It will fit, 79's to 04's all have the same suspension set up as far as I know. Is it optimal for your car? Only if it is a GT or V6 convertible.

Also, AM is very expensive. Ebay, Ebay, Ebay! I got mine shipped to my door for $126. UPR/Eibach.
