Switching Transmisson
idk im always wishing i had a manual cause but idk i have a automatic and i want to be a really good i dont want to mod my car for show but for power to beat others. could some one tell me how much it would be to change or a really good mod so i dont have to change it to a maual. thanks. by the way i have a 95 3.8l mustang auto.

well if your talking about just 1 mod that'll get you fast...a s/c or turbo or nitrous..
aside from that gears would be your best starting option.. i know your going to ask or im guessing so here it goes gears doesnt give you hp but increases your acceleration ALOT! and cant take off a half second or a lil bit more in the 1/4 mile price-$130-$150 install-$150-$250 tune-idk...just get the SCT XCAL2 to tune it..its a good mod as well

switching to a manual isnt all that difficult actually if you really wanted too. me and a friend of mine swapped my cars auto to a t5 manual. You need. Tranny, bellhousing, clutch/brake pedal assembly, drive axle w/ manual tranny yoke, new clutch, clutch cable, and a manual ecu.
