My name is Diego, I own a 1998 Ford Mustang, I am having some problems with my car, and I would really apreciate it if you could help me. I started having problems with the car about a week ago, the car has a manual transmision, and while driving the car droped the revolutions under 1000, which caused the car to turn off. I tried turning the car back on but the car would not start. I did not run out of gas, and the battery was not dead. after an hour it roughly started and drove home with a low but disturbing grinding, and the engine was overheated. yesterday, the car would not start, the car would barely start it would not get enough revs to start, and I had to press the gas pedal to finally start it. the engine started very roughly, and in the 1 mile ride back home it made a horrible grinding sound, louder than the engine. when I parked, the car was overheated, coolant fluid is above level for some reason. again I apreciate all the help. Thank you. email-

Hey there, I have a 1998 Ford Mustang v6 3.8l engine. Here's the problem, when I'm driving, the car gets warmed up, when I accelerate there's a strange Grinding sound, and the engine overheats. I'm not sure where it's coming from, but the sound comes from the middle of the car. It does this sound when I accelerate. I'll stop at a stop sign, press the gas and accelerate, it'll go "GRNNNN". The car has trouble starting and it has been turning off because of low revolutions. Please let me know what you think it is. Thanks!
