Good place for Gears?

Since i have an auto, everyone says to go for the 4.10 gears, so thats what im going to go for. Does anyone know of a good place to get the gears from for cheap? i think im getting the tlok from speedconcepts. Are they a good vendor?

Yes speedconcepts.net is a good vendor. You can get the gears from Summit or American muscle. However, I think speed concepts sells gears too.

Hey Stang300a, can you tell us how the new gears affect your gas mileage up or down once you run through a tank of gas? I'm kinda curious since new gears and a t-loc are mods I'd like to do in the future...

i got 23mpg on the highway only. i was going approx 70-75 most the time and i went 80 for like 20 minutes and hit about 100mph at one point. ill tell u my city mpg in like 1-2 days. i havent done that yet. but the 23mpg were only highway the whole time. i filled up before i got on the freeway and after and divided the miles i went by the gallons.

one thing thats weird as hell is that i usually only get like 20ish mpg on the highway before my new gears but i use to drive like 80-85 the whole time so i dunno. but ill update u soon on the city mpg.

edit: i remember now why its 20. thats b/c that was city and highway mixed. my bad.
