annoying little problem...any suggestions?

Hey guys I have an annoying little problem. The door to my glove box vibrates while I'm driving. It latches closed just fine, but makes a rattling sound while I'm driving. If I reach over and press against it the noise will stop. However, it starts up again when I let go. Anyone have any ideas on how I could correct this? Thanks.

Probably a loose screw or something along those lines is causing it to vibrate. Take it apart and put it all back together and see if that helps out.

Thanks guys. I looked at the screws and they all seemed tight, but I'll give that a try and see if it helps.

I would suggest putting some foam in the two sides of the glove box between the dash and the box, may make it harder to close but it will keep the box from vibrating

That's a great idea. I'm gonna look into that. Any idea where I can get foam with an adhesive strip on one side?

That's cool. Does the noise stop if you hold it in place? Maybe some super glue would solve your problem. But be careful though. I don't want to use super glue on mine cuz then I couldn't open the glove box anymore. but there have been times that I've considered it.

just expanding on the others' idea: the glovebox is pretty easy to take apart lol. I had mine off in four screws if I'm not mistaken. Or you could just take it out and put a cover there because the glovebox is so small that it doesn't hold much lol.
