car troubles :(


when i go WOT, my car sounds like a rattle can bein shaken up is under the hood. wtf does that mean?

Hope its not the "death rattle" of pre-ignition/detonation.
That will happen when the engine is under load with bad gas or too advanced timing.

well my timings not advanced at all, my spark is slightly advanced tho, maybe ill kick it back to stock if thatll stop it

I think it's pre-ignition. Try running higher octane gas and resetting your timing. The other thing to do is decarbonize the combustion chambers. Ford has a product for that or I guess Sea Foam does the same thing.

+1 sounds like detonation to me. You need to take care of this problem ASAP! Do not drive at WOT until this is fixed.

dont have the car right now, its at crazyhorse getting gears, t-lock and an aluminum driveshaft today and tomorrow cuz i cant pick it up til 4

i was gonna seafoam anyways cuz i need an oil change in about 400-500 miles anyways so i figured id seafoam than new fuel filter and oil change at the same time. ill see how that goes and ill also use 93 octane and tweak the tune a bit and see how it is
