big old cresent wrench and some WD40... if that doesn't work get some PB blaster in there too... the combination of the two causes a wonderful grip breaking liquid... and wonderfully awful odors

yea ima try to take the whole header out with it on there since it has to come out anyway...im really hopin to get the headers out, exhaust off, and get the turbo headers on today

i got the windstar intake in and my throttle bracket made


my wideband came it too


does anyone know what this bar is that runs down in front of the radiator? it looks like its a support or something and im wondering if it is needed or not...if its now there i can raise the intercooler higher.


does anyone know how to remove the driver side header to get it around the dipstick??? i've got it unbolted and i cant get it out bc of the dipstick...

just unbolt the little bracket the dipstick has and u can apply some pressure to it its pretty sturdy you should be able to move it quite well unless you got some LTs on there.

the problem is that bracket that holds it to the block is the problem. like any way i move it around i cant get it to slide so that the long ass bracket gets out of the way

did you try pullin out the actually dipstick so you just have the tube itll bend with some pressure i had to do it to get my exhaust manis off w/o jackin up the car. just wiggle it around and bend it down a little. it wont actually bend it permanately so dont be afraid to use a little muscle

so if you shave the iat mount then the windstar intake will fit under the stock hood correct?

unbolt the dipstick from the block and then push it to the side... header will lift around it ... thats how my car was anyways

you could try they sell them seperately for each place they go so im not 100% sure if you get a code you know it didnt work. its simple to move em so you can give it a shot

Keep trying those O2 xtenders will work on the front sensors mine and yours are the same sensors

I do believe that is the support for your hood latch you can bend it some but i would not take it out

i checked it out and they only fit the rear ones (blue). the front ones (green) dont have the same pattern to fit

shave the clips off... i had to do that for my fronts too... then takes some electrical tape and go around the clip once or twice so they stay put... but yea a lot of the time people have to trim them so they fit
