do you have functional hood pins or the fake ones? if they actually work you could just take the whole hood latch and support out right? seeing as you wouldnt need it anymore.

so today i wanted to be put in the turbo headers but then before i started doing that i realized one of my gaskets is broken so then i had to run around and napa and advance do not have the gaskets...whats a good place to get some...online is fine. i did manage to tap the oil pan tho and get the fitting in there for that.

after hours of cutting grass i decided today that header was coming out...now...and i finally got it out...the dipstick is a little bent tho...
for reference if anyone wants to know...to get it out i lifted teh diptstick so that it would spin loosely then i undid the (i think is a power steering line) and let that drop down, it does have the fluid in it so have somethin to drain it in, then i pulled the header forward to the front of the car and rotated it until the dipstick bends some and u get the top of the tube out of the header. then its just more twisting and such to get the bracket out. the header will come out the front/bottom after that.

this afternoon after work i did a lil work the windstar and ran some of the hoses and fixed little things that needed to be done while i wait for my header gaskets to get here.
i had some fitment issues with the windstar and tb but after cuttin here and there i got it on good and tightened it down somewhat ![]() heres a look at the bracket i made to hold the throttle cable and cruise control ![]() a shot of the tapped pan ![]() im thinkin i might run into trouble with the traction control module...so we'll see how that works out ![]() a pic with some of the hoses run ![]() theres not really much more i can do until my header gaskets get here...one thing i have left to do is lengthen the hookup for the tb...for lengthen those wires what wire do i need to use?

for the small boost spring which im using for a while, im not going to get a dyno tune. when i get the bigger fuel upgrades i will put in the 10psi spring and then get it dyno tuned. idk about getting a dyno pull either right now cuz i just dont have the extra cash to throw into that at the moment.
