My Turbo install with Windstar upper swapApproximate parts list so far... -Windstar upper intake -custom built bracket for iac relocation (still need to build) -bracket to hold throttle cable -gaskets for upper intake -upper intake bolts -coil pack bracket -shaved iac -3/8 extra line to run vacuum hoses -T for hooking in my boost gauge -Precision Garrett GT4088 turbo -Tial 38 mm wastegate - 4.4 psi and 10.3 psi spring (running the 4.4psi spring for now -HKS Bov -3" mild steel single exhaust dump -single 3" exhaust dump pipe routing to underneath the car then through a 3" Magnaflow muffler that dumps right before the axle -OBX Intercooler 32" x 12" x 3" large bar and plate intercooler -boost gauge and air/fuel gauge (planning to get a wideband eventually) -miscellaneous stuff - K &N Filter, silicone hoses and lines, T bolt clamps, Oil feed lines, Oil drain lines -SCT BigAir2800 MAF -drill bit and tap for the oil pan -02 extenders -header wrap -breathers -overflow tank -new spark plugs - 2 colder as i think of anything else i missed i will add it to the list.... the install will probably start saturday afternoon

the hks bov's tend to leak above 15psi fwiw
and that turbo seems a tad large for a stock motor... |

i wont b goin over 10. that turbo will b fine, it did good on the car it was on. good enough for me anyway

wow GT40 turbo for a street kit!
i didnt see any fuel mods... also they dont make 4.4psi springs its probably 3.6psi |

u sure? andy built this kit. as for fuel im runnin it low boost for now until i get up the money for diff pump and injectors to raise it up

Tial 38 mm wastegate - Choice of psi spring. 4.4 psi recommended for those planning to run stock fuel setup. 10.3 psi recommended for 91 pump gas

Congrats WLJ. Punypony...it doesn't matter how big the turbo is as long as he runs it at a low psi. Up to 8 psi is fine on the stock lower. You can even push that to 10 psi, but that can be a bit risky. Hey Woody, I would go ahead and get that wideband before you do the install. You're gonna need it to get a proper tune.

the GT4088 can't be to big... its a little on the large size for your application but its not like its a fucking monster of a turbo or anything like that, i vote for it being just fine, late booster around 2800 rpm kinda turbo
