this discombobulated me....someone explain please..

Today at school my instructor brought in his Modus so i could plug it into my car and pull my codes...got the ODB1 connectors out and went out there...looked under the hood by my accumulator where my haynes manual said it would be on the 94-95....wasnt there...modus book said some 94-95 had the OBD1 connector under the dash...did not find the OBD1 but did find the OBD2 connection....is it possible my 94 somehow has OBD2 or is it OBD1 with an OBD2 connector? and it is an OBD1 with the OBD2 connector will hand held tuners work with it since it has the right connector?

p.s. the code was P0141 Ho2s12 HEATER CKT FAULT

I'm 100% sure. My '95 is OBDII. So yeah some '95s are. I'm also 100% sure that not all '95s are. In fact I think that most aren't. Here's what you need to do. E-mail Joe@tricktuners.com. Explain you situation. He will ask you for the 4 digit code off of your ECM. From that he will be able to tell you for sure if you have an OBDI or an OBDII. I've never heard of a '94 with OBDII(unless it had an engine swap). But usually the rule of thumb is if it has the connector it is OBDII. Check with Joe...he'll know for sure.
