i have a ton of questions lol. what should i do to my mustang that is completly stock right now? i want to make it faster but im low on money since i spent it all on the car.
i wouldnt quite ask someone new to the mustang scene, straight from the import scene what to do to the mustang just yet.

we have several threads already regarding beginner mods and price/performance of each. best bang for buck is locking the rear end and putting in steeper gears

hugging a car will in no way increase performance.

that price is for one. then you need the tires and shops charge 10-20 dollars per wheel to mount and balance

same here- even free tire replacement if you get a nail or something. another thing to check is the shops will or ability to mount a 315mm tire with a small sidewall on that 18" wheel. i know there is only one tires plus around my area with the equipment to mount my 275/40/17 fronts and 315/25/17 rears, and i am planning on another 315 or a 335 for the next rear. just make sure they will touch it before you buy. and you will get them cheaper as a package of 4- look at AFS Wheels on ebay, that is where i got mine- wheels/tires/mounted/balanced/with air/shipped for 1100

a turbo charger is a forced induction unit that runs off of the exhaust the engine puts out... meaning the exhaust the engine puts out spends the impeller inside the housing of the turbo... its a good application for more horse power and torque but is designed for higher rpm use...

a super charger is a belt driven unit.. it runs off the under drive pulley at the front of your engine. it has good power output as well... but its in the lower end of your RPM range... and usually runs at a lower psi...

both of these setups run in many different variations... and have their own purposes...

in my opinion i would use a super charger for an everyday muscle car looking to make good reliable power...

if you have an import or a track car a turbocharger might be a better setup... or even a twin turbo charger set up

so their ya go if you have more questions feel free to holla at me
not quite 100% accurate, and the turbo is not only more efficient than any supercharger, but makes more power at the same level of boost every time. turbo is always better than supercharger.

s/c can be roots or centrifugal. roots are twinscrew and are like an upperintake that blows faster air into the intake. centri is a stand aside unit that is also belt driven, but speeds air then allows it to be entered making a higher rpm power curve than the low end twin screw.

but because s/c is belt driven, turbo will be more efficient and make more power being spun entirely off of exhaust, not belts and pulleys
Actually i think he was quite right about the normal apps for FI, though rather broad.

turbo is not always bettert than s/c, with s/c you can have extremely high levels of boost from low relatively rpms compared to t/c (tuned by more than a pully of course), but if your car never sees low rpm use (unlike a 6er at the drag) or has an absolutly massive engine, turbo charging is better due to the better efficientcy.

with my saab i see absolutely no power, even though a low reving high torque engine, until 2.5k rpm, when my boost finally starts to kick in.

a kick ass set up (especiall for low displacemnt enigines for drag or rally) would be a s/c and t/c set up, a s/c to give boost in the lower rpms or when the turbo hasnt spooled up yet, and then a t/c to give boost in the higher rpms. with this you can have a near constant boost with out the high rpm drag of a s/c, but the gains over a just as well tuned s/c only set up, for larger engines especially, would be not a whole lot probably

aslo a colder charge has a higher effective octane # in the combustion chamber allowing for even more boost or timing further enhancing the need for WI, MI, IC's ect. with FI

sorry dude... no one answered your question on what to do with an uber low budget and better performance... if your running an automatic... u might look at the xcal2 from SCT ... or you could get a cold air intake ... its truly up too you... everyone you ask has a different opinion tho...

start small with a cai if you have no mechanical experience, but you will ultimately get what you pay for in the mod department

well if your at idle and you have the pedal to the floor for a while...yea its pretty bad. as long as you dont have it to the floor for lik over 1-2min a red line its not bad...its really only bad if your at redline..then you push it to the floor and go past redline...thats bad

lights are pretty much bolt on...you just need basic hand tools, no mounts, and its easy..

www.vmptuning.com
has a good procharger kit
CAI you can buy at almost any mustang site.
or try ebay
i'd go for a JLT or K&N intake

i dont understand your last question

there is something called a rev limiter that should help protect you from damaging the engine if you decide to mash the gas, also look on that vmptuning site, i have one of their fog light kits on my car, didn't pay that much because i bought it second hand, they do offer a board member discount... but it came with the brackets and relay and all the related wiring, be sure to check out the v6 parts sellers list:
