lawl... ha kids with suv's pish now those are the drug dealers their

uhh i bet you could have a muffler shop install a reversed y pipe and then have two mufflers and then have it exit out the rear like a dual exhaust... your going to have it custom made... if you do go with flowmasters... but that lets you make it your way

some of the links posted in this thread are for the v6 Y pipe. do you want dual or "fual" exhaust? a Y pipe flange is very restrictive, and the flow along with the muffler make the sound.

to pass emissions, get a catted long length H or X pipe and then a catback for the same model year GT mustang

From the looks in your avatar you got the Pony edition by paying that much! i got the premium edition which has everything you do besides the fog lights which ive never been to fond of anyways, regardless the grill has been modified since but thats besides the point, you want that tuff muscle sound that a v8 can give, well what ive experianced is no matter how hard you try you will never get the same sound as the v8 i have thought about doing dual exhaust (catback system) but it would void my emmisions warranty so not having to deal with that issue i just went out and got a K&N Air Charger Intake and a Flowmaster Exhaust which i think sounds excellent it gives a nice even roar and beleive me it turns heads when im coming by...so my opinion is do a intake mod and just stay simple with the exhaust remember us v6 are lackings those 2 cylinders which makes those v8's exhaust hard to duplicate.

yea mine came with that also shaker 500, interior upgrade, mycolor display panel, wires for the pony grill but blah passed on that part

yes i have pretty much the same warranty as you my 06 stang has barely 6800 miles and i have asked the service manager because i really wanted to go with dual exhaust when i bought mine but when he layed the emmission details on me that pretty much made me decide to stay witht the OEM exhaust and if you owned a older stang well then u warranty is already used up and you can pretty much do w/e you want with the exhaust but us being 06 and urs 07 i would highle recommend you not mess with anything that has to cut after the Cats, now there is a brackett near the passenger rear tire were you can T from there and go dual, you will still get the nice roar maybe a little increase in hp but nothing noticable and beleive it or not it will have less restriction also so thats my opinion, i trust the service manager ive known him for a few years and he has never steered my wrong yet and a dealer will not tell you this they want you to void your warranty so they have less to worry about on your car!!

Mac has one of the most aggressive sounding exhaust systems for the sixer imo. It gives off a pretty aggressive not. My exhaust is gona consist of JBA Shorty headers, MAC catted h-pipe, and a MAC cat back. I'm goin with shorties because they don't make longtube headers for my year, and also I like turbos for if I ever find the money for the twin turbo setup. Don't overlook other companies just because you havn't heard of them. Do your research. Flowmasters, and Magnaflow are good, but don't just shoot down MAC. We have a thread somewhere on here with exhaust clips and it does have a MAC catback on there.

to fix the CEL you can buy MIL eliminators for 30 dollars and plug them into the rear oxygen sensors

definitely not true.

catalytic converters reduce nitrous oxide into nitrogen and oxygen and oxidizes unburned harmful hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide into water and carbon dioxide.

leaded fuels and uncatted emissions from gasoline engines are the number one contributers to smog and ozone pollutants
