mac long tubes, short off road H pipe, and flowmaster cat back for the same year gt mustang will bolt up. 40 series sound okay at idle, but it will all sound like shit above 3k rpms

nobody makes a short X pipe. do you want power or sound? they usually go hand in hand. also, flowmaster mufflers in this sense are chambered, and chambered muffs flow best with an H pipe. straight through mufflers like magnaflows or borlas flow best with an X pipe, but none matters on the even-firing essex motor

doesn't mac make a short tube header... if they do you should be able to bolt up any h or x pipe you want and any GT cat back of the same year should then fit that

also depends on your emissionsl. long tubes will fail most visual inspections, and off road midpipes will fail as well.

magnoflow, borla, bassani and i think MAC all out performe flowmaster

short tubes str8 up arent even worth getting.
Im getting long tubes....idk what emissions test are nor have i ever had to take one or have my car take one...but im getting long tubes no matter wat...with a short H pipe and either flowmaster 40s or MAC

but you see the thing is flowmaster doesn't make a dual set for the 2006 mustang... yet

plus ur doing a full setup where as joeice is just looking for a cat back for his v6... at least thats what im understanding...

... emission test are to check to make sure that your car is running like the government wants it too... your lucky check this http://www.dmv.org/fl-florida/smog-check.php
so yea
