What Can I Do To Add Power Without A S/C, I Have 3K

I just got $3,000 and I want my car to beat a GT. what can i do to get close to the 270 hp mark. Id rather not get a turbo or supercharger and i dont want to drop in a v8. Wat about the power packs from super six motor sports. they claim to add 70 hp, is his true or just an exaderation?

i have a v6 04, automatic

With $3k, there is nothing that can get you the power of a supercharger. Theirs no way to get the kind of power a blower can make, other than going with another poweradder. Why don't you want a supercharger?

like AB sed...im doing the same pretty much...full bolt ons, 8.8 rear and 3.73s, and a stage 2 or stage 3 set up will hit you near 270 or maybe more...idk

or you could get a stroker kit...then add some bolt ons it might not hit 270 but it'll be close

Alright. At www.supersixmotorsports they have what are called powerpaks. These include upper and lower intakes, cylinder heads, and a cam for your car. Or you can piece it together yourself. Now what they do for the stages is something to make the parts better. Stage 1 they do something to make that part better. Stage 2 they do that first thing, and then something else to make even better, and stage 3 is just the whole thing. The best of what they can do at this time.

the stage 2 or 3 will kill em

Does the ssms powerpack work on a single port ? or would I have to get the split port swap.?

the reason i dont want a super charger is cause they are all at least 4K plus the installation and i have no idea how to install it. my dads a mechanic but he doesnt know s/c's so I'm prolly goin with the super6 power packs. does this really get me the 70 hp that they claim?

most likely...im going with the stage 3 and ive been told i'll see 80hp out of it...
heads can make a HUGE difference in performance along with a cam...i wouldnt doubt its possible at all

you can still get the power you want out of the single port, the split port does give about 40 extra hp, but you can do it with the good ol single.

Our cars are good from a dig, not a roll. Just how it is. If you want a poweradder that is cheap that would be nitrous. You should save your money and get what you really want.

with the power pak set up you'll be happy, if anything, a turbo kit or twin turbo kit from TMA will make rolls a thing in the past. plus you'll be pretty damm fast, especially if you have the power pak...
