Newbie... in many senses of the word

Hello all, I'm new here at the forums. My name's Josh, and I am a Mustang lover. I've loved the car ever since I was a kid, riding around in my parents' '66 Fastback. I bought my first Mustang a year and a half ago, a 2004 v6 (still makin' payments). I know very little about modifications and even less about cars/engines in general. But over time, the mod-bug has been biting at me, making me want to learn more about mods - and cars in general.

So, I guess my first question is - where is a good place to start learning about.... well, cars! Drivetrains/Chassis/etc... Any good books or informational websites anybody can recommend to me? I read through mustang magzines, but my lack of knowledge of cars makes much of the technical articles appear in a foreign language to me. I am hoping to change that!

welcome to the forum, you have come to the place for information...here at least someone will for the most part always be able to answer any questions u have...if u also have a question u can tech out the tech articles at the top of the section or use the search feature

welcome the people in this forum kno a ton about our car so anything u need to kno jus put it in a thread and you'll get a crap ton of answers once again welcome

welcome to the forums. Your best bet is to use the search option. Curious about gears? type it in the search. Nitrous? Search it. you are not the first person to ask the questions and not the last, so the search is your best bet. Good luck bro. Any pics of the stang?
