All 05 or newer Mustang Owners Must Read!!!!

I dont know how many of you have had problems with water leaking into the passenger side behind the glove box but i found out a few days ago!!! i did some research and found out that this is a common problem particulary in 05 and 06 mustangs v6 and GT. i found out that there is a black rubber drainage plug on each side from someone who had the same problem, over time dirt builds up and clogs it!!! well i just pulled mine out and about 2 gallons of water poured out and the rubber filter was completely clogged!!! I am posting this to try and save all of you a big headache and possible electrical and mildew problems with 05 or newer mustangs!!! this plug needs to be checked and cleaned periodically to prevent serious water damage.

2 gallons would have destroyed your car in a less than a year. Hopefully ford does some sort of recall fix.

this has been a common problem for years. 99-04s did the same
thats why the passenger header exhaust leak is SOOOOOO common for us V6s

yea im not to sure about the 99-04 but a lot of people have had this problem with the 05s or newer and those rubber drains need to be checked and cleaned.
