Sct Xcal 3 help

I just got mine in the mail but it didnt come with the wire to connect to my computer. where do i get the wire from and why the fuck don't they give it to you?? Also how long does it take joe to make a tune because i e-mailed him and i don't want him to think im rushing him but i want to see what the difference is after the tune. Any help would be great thanks.

Joe can send you a wire..
24-48 hours is the normal turn around time

its a basic printer wire...

ok so back to the tuning part... is there anything i have to do before i just add the tune he sends me to the tuner? cause all i did was open the box and i dont know what to do next.

pull your fan relay fuse and your fuel pump fuse.. it's a good idea to put the battery on a trickle charge when tuning as well.

install the software, receive tune, upload tune to flasher, swap tunes on car, drive car,

no it's not. but if you think your battery is weak I would highly suggest it.

Start > All Programs > SCT > Live load

or something like that...

joe will send you a base tune, upload that then record the data from your car to your computer, then send info back. Then he will send you the final tune. took me about 5 days or a little more, just depends on how much he has to do or anything else that comes up. GREAT guy to work with, knows his shit
