Yea I was thinking single to. I'll go either way not that big of a deal. I'm buying a boost controller and turbo timer along with it. Plus getting it dyno tuned anyway. Thanks the machs excellent ha. The turbo was gonna be the cash used for the blower on that but I already made the commitment to do this to the six along time ago

its not that they need to cool down. the impeller on the turbo will spin. and continue to spin while the car is off with out oil lubricating the bearings for the turbo which could potientially hurt the bearings

which is why with a turbo car never give it a rev then kill it..ball bearing and ceramic are somewhat ok to do it with but i wouldnt recommend it

i thought it was also to let the oil cool down so it doesnt build up or something along those lines

no thats the return line
you dont want the return line to make any up hill climbs back to the oil pan. if not your looking at the oil building up and getting burnt in the turbo

Actually your right,
If you just turn it off it can cause the oil to get hard/bake and you don't want that inside your turbo.

Sorry for the hi-jack.... I'm also looking to do something with my V6, I really like the turbo set ups, I have a turbo t-76 on my Mach...

I'm thinking of doing the m112 kit right now only cause I'm swaping my 03 Cobra s/c to a polished Whipple and I have the xtra s/c, but after looking at the TMA website I think I just changed my mine

itschristorres8 I tried to send you a PM but because I'm new here it didn't let me.
I'm very intressted in building a short block and Big valve heads.
I checked out your link.
Can you call me ? If so respond and I'll give you my shop #
