Mod or keep stock for value

Hey you all got a question for ya. I have a bone stock 2004 40th edition stang.

Thinking about modding it to get it to sound like this

I want the car to hold value 30 years from now but can't hold back the urge to squeeze some life into it.

What do yall think?

I'm willing to bet 3 thousand dollars that you won't have this car in 30 years.

mod it.

your third one?.....damn. Well this is my 1st and I love it so far. It may not be the most powerful and it may be an automatic which is even worse but the girls love it and it looks great when its clean.

So did you mod yours like hell?

I see...........well then you're the perfect person to ask. Is it possible to get my stang to sound like the clip I attached...does yours sound like that?.....and also, do you lose mpg when you mod like crazy.....I use this baby as a daily driver so don't want to get 9mpg after its all said and done

lol your 6 will never sound like a GT man.. it's a different motor.

simple as that.. it fires different.

with that clip I had
stock headers
mac x pipe (with cats)
magnaflow cat back with flowmaster 40 series weld in mufflers.

please note that he said that clip is the GT. u can never have the sound of a v8 with out having a v8. lt headers and flowmasters for exhaust, then a cam could give u a different sound that can sound really good though

maybe i should go with a term then if i can find one. I've seen the arguments when someone talks about getting a V8 vs a V6 but I need power and that sound!

unless u want to just be different or have a certain "love" for ur car then the GT is a good road to go IMO if u can afford it.

Don't take this the wrong way, I'm NOT trying to say you should of bought a GT. Before I go forward, if I'm not mistaken they didn't make 40th anniversary V6s, only V8s, and even then you had to have the actual "40th Anniversary" package. I know in 1999 - the 35th anniversary - all Mustangs had the badges, but only like 4,000 had the special "35th Anniversary" upgrades. If it's the same for 2004 (only V8s) then yours should be nothing special, it just means it was made in 2004 and you got a different emblem.

MOD IT!
