Good Price?

Hey guys I was just wondering. My girlfriend is looking to buy a car and a friend of ours is selling his red 2004 40th Anniversary V6 auto. The only mods he's done to it is dual exhaust (Flowmasters, I'm pretty sure). He said he's sell it to her for $8,000. Do you guys think this is a good price? Thanks

I haven't personally talked to him. When I find out the milage I'll let you know. The interior/exterior is good. He keeps it up well. The only thing is a recent scratch along one side. He said he got an estimate at the body shop for it and said it could cost $300 to repair. But the $8000 is not including the $300. He's asking like $8,600 to $9000 or so online.

well yeah. He's asking more than 8 online. But I might be able to get him down lower.
So you think it may be a little too much?

i dont know if he is using the 40th anniversary thing as a way to get more money out of it...im not sure but i think all mustangs taht year were given that badging and didnt make it necissarily special from the dealer....8k sounds high, i would get it down to 7 or 7.5 if it has under 60k on the clock

check kbb for that car it says mid 8k, so i would say thats a decent deal. and im pretty sure that there are 04s that didnt get the badging...hence them not being 40th anniversary edition...i dont think there is much of a difference but im pretty sure there were some with and some without
