plug gap.

last night i gapped my spark plugs from .4 to .65. i was told to do this to get more power on the low end. and let me tell you it def helped. not an incredible amount but enough that i can tell it. it also runs much smoother when i accelerate slowly. i have autolite platnums or something like that. not sure how old they are but they looked like they were in good condition.
sorry i have no question i was just letting you guys know that gapping your plugs does help on the low end.

toss the plat plugs in the trash and go buy copper ones.
unless your running a blower or nitrous you should be gapping them at .052-.054.

i was told by someone on here i believe to gap them at .065 if you are having trouble getting power on the low end because of no exhaust restriction. and yes i plan on getting new copper plugs when i get the money. and it is running better than ever gapped at .065.

Yeah that gap is ignorant unless you have a coil pack, and even then without some badass n/a app or boost its really not needed.

i would drop the gap back down personally...wires dont really allow a bigger gap

as for getting a job
RULE #1 NEVER WAIT FOR THE CALL
YOU MAKE THE CALL

if your a boss who are you going to hire..the call you gotta call for a position or the guy calling you for it

not only does it show laziness but shows you have a lack of interest towards vs the guy calling for the job

Yep Chris just taught you a Life Lesson:

Anytime your going for a JOB, MAKE SURE your the guy doing the calling. If you just sit around the boss may call you back, or he may get a call from somebody who wants it worse than you do, has your same credentials, and is determined. Who do you think he'll hire?

If the gap is working and your happy with it then run it. its your car. This wasnt a post for advice, and it definitely wasnt a post asking to get ragged on about his job situation. I understand you guys are offering advice, But im reading through this and with thet exception of a few it sounds more like he's catching sh*t. If his parents put rules on him like sports first, then guess what? They are his PARENTS. They prolly bought the car and have already taken into account repairs. If your car runs better Congrats I'm happy for you, Im gonna at elast give it a temporary try with the gapping thing, Some cars run differently than others, it might work it might not.

And by the way 12 bux is alot for spark plugs. Im making 27k a year and I have a wife and two kids, with a third on the way. By the tiem the bills get paid I have enough gas to get me to work till the day before the next payday. I have to use my bankcard as credit knowing the paycheck clears at midnight. So keep in mind everyone has their own circumstances.
