I didnt think she had it in her. Suggestions?

I was doing around 40kmph and i floored the car. and the back tires just spun till i hit 60kmph. This got me thinking of doing her up even more. Anyone know where to get a cheap turbo/super charger? Don't want nothing fancy or Ebay items, I work a $8.25 a Hr job. Something around 1000-1500 is my price range. just something to give her 260+ HP. i got UD pulleys, Cams, K&N air filter and 8.5mm wires. Any other ideas is more then welcome.

holy crap batman 60000 miles per hour....whoa

im just kidding...anyway u gotta pay to play man, horsepower just isnt cheap these days. unless u build it urself turbo kits are pretty much never going to be 1000-1500 unless u find a good deal. u can probably get a supercharger for somewhere around 2k i think, u would have to wait for someone to chime in on that

since you have a single port you could do a m90 swap on it. and pick up a few more pony's,
that with some head work and maybe a new cam should get you to your goal

Cheap and effective dont go well together. What is the milege on your car? That is the first factor. Second, only real power adder you will get for that price range is nitrous, which, on a high milege car, isnt safe.

If it wasnt a puddle than it sounds to me like you need some better tires first!
