4:10's


how much will the 4:10 gears decrease my top speed by in an 06 v6 automatic?? thanks

they are actually 4.10:1 gears as the ring gear has 41 teeth and the pinion has 10. they will not decrease your real top speed as you will never achieve your theoretical top speed with stock gears or 4.10s due to friction.

but it will have slower acceleration after 50 or 60 mph right? it will take longer to get to a high speed if i'm already at 40 or 50 correct?

gears accelerate your car faster...why would it stop it at a different speed?
it'll pull harder at any speed then the stock gears
