wtf would you put a ls1 engine in a mustang? Thats like building a ford hotrod with a chevy engine.....its just wrong

will the 514 cobra jet engine fit? 600 HP right outta the box.

Mixing engines and cars like that is unforgivable. The effect you'll get is 99% of Ford guys pissed off because you put a crappy engine in a perfect car and then you'll piss off 99% of chevy guys because you put a perfect engine in a crappy car. So if you want to be hated and shunned by every car guy with half a brain...then by all means!

I vote 5.4L or the cammer.

you know how many fox body mustangs have done that

plus there's already an ls1 05 mustang that used to be a V6 mustang

why? ls1 owns ford 4.6L motors all day

Hey, it's a free country, you can look as stupid as you want to. Maybe that's your thing...I'm not hating...just letting you know it's not natural. If you like Chevy engines so much...buy a chevy. Why go through the extra headache of trying to get everything to fit? Go with what's natural...what Ford designed their vehicles for.

actually they've been pushed to 800rwhp stock
doesnt mean its safe on the stock motor
people have blown them with just a tad over 600rwhp
then some break 700rwhp and you dont hear about them breaking
then the IRS some take to 600rwhp no problems
some break with intake and exhaust

it all depends

wow could you send me the fuckin book on how to build your car perfect

oh wait theres no book
i didnt think a 10second n/a ls1 h/c/i fox looked too stupid at all...but hey you do

its not looking stupid YOU think its stupid but shit in that case i dont think many would care that own they're cars
why cause you dont own it
you know how many ls1 swap in mustang threads have been made. you know how many ford guys just on here have thought about it or KNOW ls1 will spank they're crappy 4.6L 2v,3v, or 4v motor n/a
even termi's
takes just light bolt ons for a n/a ls1 to start taking down a s/c 4.6L V8

you have nno idea
your stuck on oh if its a ford it needs a ford motor....NO why?
theres COUNTLESS chevy guys using Ford 9in rears
second a fox is a light car. GM didnt make anyhting too light that isnt a Vette and even vettes weigh a bit

theres Corvette power'd honda's
and ford power hondas too
they've got fuckin celica's with big 572 Chevy motors
you think they care when they make 9 second or lower passes that some fuckin guy on a forum with a car that doesnt cross the 1/8mile faster then they cross the 1/4 has to say about they're setup

i dont think so

Well, I am not really against a cross breed mustang, but i do agree, while an ls1 will perform better than a ford motor in my opinion with less mods, i also agree that most people will shit if they knew i had a gm powered ford, and not that i ever build a car with the intention of selling it, but no one would buy a gm powered ford, it would be cool, but wrong. so i'm leaning towards the powerhouse turbo setup reccomended, i was considering a F-150 motor with the saleen supercharger, and a big block would be fun, but nothing here is really grabbing my attention, but thanks for the ideas, and the opinions.

well any after 99 i wouldnt push past that, but the 98 block was mean, it can take a good deal of abuse

Oh God forbid I should be new to V6 mustangs...I bow to your awesomeness in all things mustang. Man I guess all that time I spent doing frame off resto on 66 chevelles, and modding 86 F150 and 2001 Mazdas, I should have spent it being in your presence, so I can learn how to be a Grade A asshole! Well fortuantly, we're here now...so you can thread jack me every chance you get so you can be all omniscient and prove what a dick you are! Yeah!
