Engine Swap Ideas

Hi, I'm new, I just purchased a 05 v6 coupe, and i'm already considering a engine swap, i know there are some supercharger kits and turbo kits available for my car, but i'd rather go with a swap, any one done it, any cool links, just wondering, thanks, chris

just turbo the stang and be faster than the gt's

engine swaps can get really complicated and you will be spending much more than its actually worth. stick with the 6

+1 run safe boost for your stocker and buy another block and have your heads ported with a built bottom end, most of all get some suspension, tranny, and rear-end work done first!

swap in a 99-04 cobra motor....preferably the 03/04 with or without the blower since they are basically indestructible.

yeah right a GT motor...might as well by a GT....if you do a motor swap for a GT motor you've just wasted a great amount of time and money for little gains

i'd rather see an ls1 swap in an 05 then a termi swap...

i was thinking,

i was thinking about a procharger or a turbo set up with the stock v6, i was also considering a gt v8 conversion, but i agree, the cost vs. hp reward and cool factor isn't there. I bought the car because it was a great deal, in a little fender bender, so i am gonna take the oppertunity to bolt on the "shelby" body components, and i guess i am looking for reasonable power, 350-400 hp, but am thinking something more exotic. I can hande a complicated swap, but i like simple projects too. I love my ls2 powered bmw, it was a five wire hook-up.
