a well-built automatic isn't a problem... They shift well, and they are durable... I've run automatics in quite a few of my older car's and never had an issue with them....
They are nice to drive in traffic, as you don't have to shift all the time.... the MAJOR downside... is IF you enjoy shifting and going through the gears.... well, then the automatic is kind of boring... Although, to be honest, I haven't looked at how much stuff is available to beef up a stock auto in a v6 mustang... I know there are valve bodies and shift kits, along with a few torque converters though.... |

theres tons of things for a v6 stang also have prochargers for v6 and turbo nitrous and many more mods....

its not worth paying for the swap. either buy a manual and sell yours or stick with auto

i vote keep the 4r70w and get a nice stall converter and a few other odds and ends... supp trans cooler and jmod or shiftkit and you will be good to throw some power at it....
