Rear End....
ok i no this topic gets trown around alot but i want to get a set of 4.10's in my stang... but i was lookin around and saw the 8.8 axle and know they are stronger... should i go with the whole new axle if i had the money or just build up mine... and i was looking at SpeedConcepts at the 8.8 axles... wat is the difference between the take off and the complete kit... besides the $800?

the 8.8 isnt really needed unless your gonna do major mods...you can put tlok in yur 7.5 with gears and be fine....do you have an auto or manny? usually 3.73's are the way to go with a stick and 4.10's are good for autos.

turbo nitrous and full internals then hell ya if you got the money go with an 8.8...as far as the take off and complete kit im not sure..im guessing the take off is an actual used rear set up and the kit is the new with everything you need to bolt it up..but im sure torres or someone with pop in and tell you more of what you need to know...but i think you could still just tlok the 7.5 but if you want the strength and dont mind spending the money then get the 8.8

the 99-04 mustang gt 8.8 bolt right up to the v6...the only thing is that the v6 doesnt have the spots for the bumpsteer, it isnt necessary, but if ur gonna be racing ur gonna want to get a set so u wont hop so much off the line

Hey man if money isn't an issue go with a new 31 spline setup. That will hold that awesome amount of power that your crazy bank account will be able to put in your car.
...or you could buy a termi
