springs and rocker arms
im gathering parts for my h/c/i swap. ill be going with a compcams billet cam. it has a duration of 210/218 and a lsa of 112.the heads i am getting are big valve heads with a 1.900 intake and 1.600 exhaust valve. they have been upgraded to 8mm as well. i need some springs and roller rockers to go along with it. i have read that the beehive springs will not work with the 8mm valve stems. can someone tell me what kind of springs i can use with this cam and heads. and i do not want to pay $500 for rocker arms. i have been looking on the comp cams website and cannot find the rocker arms. are the springs and rocker arms custom made through ssm, delk, etc. or can i order these parts cheaper through compcams? also i need some opinions on a few other parts. i am trying to keep this build cheap, but do i need to do new lifters, pushrods, and arp head bolts? my car has 63000 miles.
