Tranny shifts hard - tuner frys tranny/engine?

Trannhy shifts hard. Did a service and put Lucas Tranny Oil in. What else can I do?

Aslo I asked this question before but I forgot the answer:
Chip, prong or hand held tuner what's best and what brand. Someone told me though that they will all fry a v6 3.8 or ruin the tranny is that true?

As far as your first question...do have an automatic?
Second...+100000000000 get an SCT tuner. Click the link in my sig. It is the best place to go for a tuner. There is a lot of info on that site. Also make sure to tell them that you are an MM member cuz that gets you a pretty good discount.
