so u know to put the tlock in u will need the tlok, gears if u want, friction modifier and oil for the rear end, and also a master bearing kit...they can usually supply one at a shop, but it tends to be more expensive

WRONG! He has an s197. Speedconcepts sells a BRAND NEW 8.8 rear end with the gears already in it for his car. And the 8.8 comes with a t-lok...again already in it. He needs nothing but what they are selling. All that other stuff you're talking about is if you are putting NEW gears and t-lok into a USED rear end. He would be replacing the whole thing. Plus it is Brand new...so no need for new bearings and shims.

As far as gear oil the shop can put oil in for like $20.
