he meant the 8 pounds of boost...

and yes, you can use it if you want but a 25% reduction can result in a large loss in boost... you could, if you wanted, get a small pulley on the supercharger and try and mix and match and make something work, but its advised to return to stock

umm i believe the easier it is for your shit to spin, ie lighter pulleys, the more it will boost. but im no expert.

your backwards... a smaller pulley on the charger makes more boost... right??

why??

cause it spins more times per revolution of the crank... if you have a smaller crank, the boost pulley wont turn as many times and it wont build as much boost...

its the same thing as putting a larger boost pulley on the charger

UD pulleys are for naturally aspirated motors.
they are indeed smaller but when you add boost into it they become the exact opposite.

Omz is Correct.
here is some info on explaining how they work and why you shouldn't have them with a super charged.. numbers as well.
