I've got about 101k on my 99 v6....i've heard from some people that the trannies tend to wear out around that time. Should I start saving up for a new one now or later do you guys think?

six speed? for me it would be kind of pointless because its slow enough as is with 5...its a bad sign when a civic SI pulls ahead of you...

its a 99. it was actually my friend's SI and we started from a 30mph roll. He has a CAI, full header back exhaust, fuel rail, pump, ngk iridium sparkplugs and msd super conductor wires. All i have is a CAI with a K&N filter, pypes h-pipe, ngk iridium sparkplugs and msd 8.5mm wires. his SI is also a 99. sad....but true.
