I've had double limo tint before...just dont be an idiot if you get pulled and ROLL YOU WINDOW down BEFORE the cop comes up to the car...

The whole reason there are laws about tint is the OFFICER cannot safely see in the car to make sure you dont have a shotgun aimed at the window waiting for him to walk up...

NEVER had a problem with this just roll down the window...

Then again we dont have ANY kindve inspections here in SC...so I guess that matters too...

that wont work b/c the LEO can ask you to roll the window up, use his scanner to find the tint (which is darker on a cloudy day btw) and cite you. Inspections do not matter as SC has very similar tint laws to GA's refined laws reinstated just over a year ago.

i was just reading through this and i thought this might help out with the prep before painting - - -

get yourself an old toothbrush, or some cotton balls. take rubbing alcohol and clean the surface of whatever you're painting. then its up to you if you want to scuff up the surface with some fine sandpaper or not. it helps the paint stick a little better, but mine did just fine without it. i also have a question for you guys - how hard was it to get the piece around the door handle out to paint? i've been wanting to do that but i havent had the courage to take my doors apart...also, are the pieces around the air vents removable? i wanted to paint them blue to match the rest of the interior but they didn't pop out when i started prying on them and i was afraid to break them

the piece around the door handle just pops out so no biggie just the curved surface is hard to paint let alone it being touched alot so it has lots of grease on it. anyways the vents um the centre consoles yes the others no.. i just taped off what i didn't want painted.
