somtimes....i cant stop....

ha, title can be misleading if you read it how you want,

Start the car
Put it in Drive
Driving forward, coming to a stop-sign, try to stop but it slows down extremely slow rather than stopping, after pressing the brake a couple times, it works like its supposed to, whats up with that?

Sounds like you have air in the brake lines.

+2 on air in the brake lines, does it feel soft? and once you pump it a couple times firms up?

yes it does, you have to bleed the brake lines the get rid of the air.

You need 2 ppl, one to pump the brake pedal and one guy on the valve and each brake caliper. you start at the farthest barke away from the master cylinder and work up the the closet. You have to pull all 4 tires to this job. You have one guy pump the pedal and the other guy opens the valve and lets the air bleed out, but he has to keep his foot on the pedal so the air doesnt go back in.

I would just take it to pep boys and have them hook you up with new brake fluid.
Your probably due for a change anyway.. bleeding brakes can be a pita and they have a machine that they hook up which gets it done in like 5 mins.
