Grill Delete question.

We'll, I'm not going with the full delete kit, so I guess I'm somewhat custom doing it. I've got the black strip the goes along the bottom portion to cover the holes on the way (thanks HMUSN), but thats about all I'm doing when it comes to actually putting things ON that part of the car. I want a clean, straight black, look.

My question is, would there be and consequences to cutting out this piece.

Not entirely sure what it is, so before I have a friend of mine cut it out, would there be any negative consequences to cutting out that piece in front of the grill. Or am I missing something and I can just take it out?

from what i deduced without taking my grill off, it looks like its just a support/place to attach the grill, so i would think it would be fine to cut, might wait for someone who has done it to chime in though

that section of the header panel doesnt actually support anything but the pony emblem so id say its safe to cut it out. just be careful not to cut out the spots where one of the screws hold the header panel on and where it hold the headlights and supports the front bumper
