Ford C-Springs

Looking to buy a set of c- springs, they are 1" to 1.25". Can someone tell
me are these a good set of springs and will they give my mustang a good
looking stance, i also like the price. At american muscle they cost $149.

They are good springs. AB (atlanticblue) has these springs on his car, and gives his car a real nice aggressive stance. He has givin nothing but compliments, and good reviews about those springs.

stock they are all the same ride height. But those springs give that aggressive tilt, and also is good for weight distribution. You want your car to squat and go, and that tilt gives a good weight transfer.

The front will be noticeably lower than the rear with C springs. C springs are the lowest you can go on stock shock/struts/c/c plates and maintain factory specs alignment. I will post some pics up shortly

I just took some digital pics real quick in the garage to illustrate ride height.

Front end clearance is 7", header collector pipe clearance is 2 1/2", side skirt front clearance is 6 3/4", rear side skirt clearance is 7 1/2"

Looking at AB mustang the rear seems to be a little to high for me. Do
they make C-springs a bit lower than the 1" and 1.25".

Also gotta remember AB has 17" wheels. 18" wheels would fill the wheel well out better.

no C springs are made by FRPP, they also make a B spring but it isnt as low as the C. if you want lower, i suggest eibach pro kit with new shocks, struts, bumpsteer, c/c plates, alignment. it is the extra 500 dollars in parts i did not want to spend, so i went with C springs

also- i have no spare tire- 40lbs out of the rear (i fiberglassed a 1/4" ply over the spare area and made my own lighter weight yet still functional trunk compartment), and i am on 1/2 tank. when i had the spare in and my sub box with 2 10" subs, it was almost as low in the rear as the front...

that, and i have no tread on the rear and am about to get a set of 315s or 335s with better tread to replace my current 315 sumitomos. a tire with tread will fill that gap 1/4" or more, and give an even more sever nose-down look

I think after I get my u/d pulleys on im gonna invest in some c springs. Then some wheels, and a chin spoiler. I saw a sn-95 with a chin spoiler on it yesterday, and I gotta admit it looks awesome in person. Are you gonna stick with the sumitomos? I know it's been said before but you do have one agressive lookin sixer.

The sumi's lasted about 12k miles and sucked at hookin, even on the track with a 315. I switched to fuzion zri 275/40/17 front and will go with a 315/35 fuzion zri rear or maybe a nitto555 315/35.

My friend Andrew (98mustang) has a 98 mustang, red, with a chin spoiler- looks good too.

For sure, your 18s will fill the gaps even more, but the actual ride height (bumper height, side skirt height) will be higher than the 17s. but it will look better with the gap reduced.

how long do those fuzions last? I want a good nice lasting street radial.

I'm willing to bet you will be happy with those C springs Mkenne. It looks like it didn't drop a lot in the rear on ABs car, but also you didn't see a before and after pics to see what it did for the looks.

fuzion i have are also a Z rated speed tire, but should last about 25k miles. if i can get 20k i will be happy. performance tires are softer and wear quicker
