Transmission Swap

Hey guys, I was wondering about how much it would cost to convert my automatic into a manual, and how difficult it is? Who here has done this before, and what is required? Also, is there a book that i can buy that will help me out further when I start working on it? My car is a 2003 V6, also, any links or websites to visit for more information, or selling the parts that are need will be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Would cost too much to be worth it. Try searching the forums. This question is asked often

Thanks, I have searched the forums, but I was hoping for a little more answers, most of the threads that i found looked a little old. I saw a lot where people have said that its better to save your money, and trade in your car for a manual. but I have a nice clean car that we got for a good price. It has 71k miles on it, and we only paid $5850. I'm could probably get more than what we paid for it, but then finding a good deal on the manual would be the tricky part. So i thought i would look more into doing the trans swap myself

me and doc just did his mach recently. its not too bad if you know what you are doing and what you are looking at when you get there. you will need a t5 trans for your application, if you plan on power adders and stuff like that i recommend building it up a liitle.
