I agree with chris, he's right. he didn't get 13k + post not knowing what he was talking about either. I'm still a little new on the forums, but i've seen a few names pop up ofter with great advice, chris is one of them.

Thanks, i've been reading a lot of post on this site, trying to lean a lot without bugging people askinging them questions they've answered 100 times in the past lol and after the discussion, i feel that taking the speed limiter off is still something i'd like to do, just a little further down the road. i want go get some more horses under the hood first. any tips there? lol, it seems like the first mods to go with would be true duals(maybe magnaflow or flowmasters?) , CAI (i heard JLT is good), and then i'm not to sure after that.... lol

As for the author of this thread, listen to everyone else, you never need to go more than 115. Ever. Its a waste of gas, waste of money when you get caught, and not worth the risk. These cars can go that fast, but doenst mean they should.

they only make JLT for the new v6's sadly

flowmasters is abetter idea for sound. your not going to gain much power from magnaflows over flowmasters and sound for sound isnt worth it

if your k-member bent and flex'd and destroy'd your oil pan the issue lies in the driver for driving on such a road at that speed
i'd love to see how your kmember looks if it got so fucked up it put a hole in your oil pan

+1 rep, thanks for the help man, and now that you mentioned it, i remember that when i heard about the JLT, they were discussing an '05 V6, lol. Oh well, and i've heard flowmasters had better sound, knowing that the power gain is slight, i'll go with the flowmasters, thanks
