Getting a Camshaft
Yup talked with Mik at RPM
getting a 216/216 regrind camshaft with longer push rods with shims, also comp springs. going to port my heads and my intakes will be ported to Im going to run 5.8psi when its all said and done Im looking for 350rwhp with 5.8psi! i made 279rwhp last time on 5.8psi with my stock flywheel and driveshaft both are aluminum and about half the weight then with the h/c/i i want at LEAST 70rwhp gain. 350rwhp is the least im looking for on 5.8psi. I think if i get a 70rwhp gain i'd see about 10rwhp from the aluminum driveshaft and flywheel so about 360rwhp and a tune will go in the car so 279rwhp was with out a dyno tune. 70rwhp is usually seen on n/a car with h/c/i so 370rwhp might not be to far off base with only 5.8psi ![]() sad thing Obdnanrs car Im working on first! so im hoping next week it'll be started get it running and break his car in for a week then i can work on my car during that time. I might consider a windstar intake swap as well

nice, take it mik was nice with the price too cause i do remember you saying its gonna cost to much and you wanted to just keep it how it was cause of that. But thats good, more power . . . less psi !! keep it safe this time
dont rebreak the darn thing!

well i hooked him up a little with parts now and hes gonna help me out so it works out
if i make 350rwhp it'd be over 30rwhp per psi!! 160rwhp stock 350rwhp-5.8psi thats roughly 190rwhp divided by 5.8 is 32.76rwhp per pound of boost average is about 20rwhp per psi is what i made before

yeah, hopefully it makes that. I'd be in a little danger zone but with 5.8psi its not to much pressure.
when i have the built motor ready I'll take her to 8.7psi stock bottom, dyno it to get numbers or maybe dyno for 11.6psi! with 8.7 should be around oh 400rwhp! then closer to 440rwhp with 11.6psi

h/c/i is why pushrods are the best.
