Pypes, flowmaster, mac. You can either go with a full catback, or have a shop custom make a mid pipe then weld in some flows. Not my favorite, but it'll get done for under $400. Not a bad sound at all.

If you were from OH, I could hook you up. I'm trying to get rid of a Mac exhaust (headers, Cat-H, Cat-back) for a GT take off, stock cats/ headers, and an adapter. Doubt you have anyone that crazy where you live, but it is too much for the plans I ihav for the engine. Sounds good though.

If you can find a shop with a mandrel bender I'd get a custom setup. That is the easiest and cheapest option. However, it is hard to find a shop with a mandrel bender, and you don't want crush bent pipes. Here is a breakdown of my setup and what it cost(no Mandrel benders in VA shops). H-pipe adapter from American Muscle ($94 shipped), Flowmaster American Thunder true dual catback w/stainless tips from Flowpower.com (just under $400 shipped), Install ($150 great install). That comes to a total of just over $600. You can get it done cheaper, but you'll need to go custom to do it. Also, since you have an 03 I would want to get a GT rear bumper. It isn't necessary, but will make your car look much nicer than if you don't. I love the pipes sticking out under the bumper of my SN95, but I would want a new bumper for a new edge.

It didn't look too bad on my '00. But it did cause a problem once I lowered it, but I went REALLY low. You have to be real careful how you back up to anything low to the ground. I got one for this one (last owner put it on too).

So there are plenty of exhaust shops around where i live could i bring in 2 of these 40 Series 2.25 inch" O/O Mustang Muffler [42443] : Flowmaster Inc. Exhaust Shop, Love That Sound!

and ask for true duals with a h pipe cross over and they could make it work?
