power adder?

alright so im debating on whether or not to supercharge. i have an 02 auto v6. my current mods are 4.10 gears and a posi-trac differential on the 7.5 rear end, bbk shorty headers, flowmaster dual exhaust, k&n drop-in filter, and an sct livewire. im getting an off-road x-pipe soon as well as a cam, heads, and ported intakes. i also have a 65mm halfshafted throttle body waiting to be installed. im hoping for around 220rwhp with all of these. now, i would like to get about 340-350 rwhp. so what would it take? im thinking about doing a vortech with about 11psi. would that be enough? and this is a street car so i want to keep my tranny stock(except for a stall, cooler, and shift kit) and the 7.5 rear. does this sound alright? ill be babying the car for the most part.

+1 you will need to upgrade to an 8.8 rear if your wanting to go over 300hp safely

the 7.5 will hold up to 350rwhp if you dont launch it hard... if you do plan on hitting the strip then with that much power it wont take too long to break it... if you want to keep the 7.5 then you should upgrade to the detroit truetrac... and the 4.10's really arent that great with superchargers... id say drop them down to 3.73

Your getting to the point of requiring forged internals.

You might consider buying a cheap 3.8L or 4.2L engine to build up
in your garage, a bit at a time, while you are driving your car daily.
Then when the day comes, do the weekend swap, then sell the old engine.

either you buy an 8.8" or you just dont supercharge at all. the 7.5" will not hold that much power by far. ya you can baby it but than why would you want to add power to the car? the tranny will be fine w/ that much power but the 7.5" will go and it will go quick. w/ that much power, youd be lucky to get 5 runs out of it if that
