Old exhaust

Today i was going to replace my old stock exhaust with some dual exhaust but i cant decide. Should i just cut the stock exhuast pipe to take the system out or should i take it to a shop and have them left the car up to take it out without cutting? And if i want to cut it my self, wats a best tool?
Thanks
sean

If your questioning it. Let a shop do it, and if they mess up...it's on them.
