i have the same setup as you brotha minus the mufflers. take you're mufflers off and just weld on tips. that will make it extra loud. put on some performance headers, i used jba shortys personally, and you'll have yourself a mean sounding. actually i have an x-pipe at the mid but straight pipes from there back. but seriusly mine sounds amazing and i even have people with saleens, shelbys, cobras etc complement on my exhaust and are blown away when i tell them its a v6. like one even told me that if he pulled up and i rev'd he be scared to race cuz he was like holy shit what does he have in there lol.

You could get Dumps or cut outs, dont know how it would sound on a V6 though.

Flowmaster 40s and long tubes IS as good as it gets without the 2cyl mod.

Magnaflows sound like a weed eater.
And no mufflers sounds like a tractor.

/end

They make catted H pipes...they are just more expensive.
To the op magnaflows arent nececarily(sp) lout unless your at wot. The best set up would be LT headers a catless H pipe(if you can still pass emissions with one) and a catback of your choice with a chambered muffler. a cai will help and later on a cam. For now focus on a full exhaust and a cai

Not an electric weed eater...

A manly gas powered weed eater.

not if u get a catted h pipe. plus, if you get longtubes (you can find a longtube catted h pipe combo right now on ebay for 450), and you get the hpipe, you can use any gt catback.

flowmasters are over rated imo, i myself don't really like the sound of em, to me it makes like a hollow sound, but eveyone has there own opinion, i would say try lookin at some diff vid's of diff setups n see what sounds good to u.
