good sounding exhaust system

OKay i know ive asked this before but i wanted more ppl to answer this

I have a 2004 v6 3.9L 5speed mustang. I already have dual exhaust on it. I

had the Ypipe cut out and the guy welded 2.25" Straight pipes with magna

flow mufflers on it. I dont like the sound of the exhaust mainly because they

sound too quite. Almost like the stock exhaust and thats not what i want. So

what should i do to make it louder?

long tubes will run like 400-600 for gts but not sure about sixxers and u may not be able to do the work yourself

they'll make you louder and your gain a little bit of power

you could just remove the catalytic converters... long tubes will require that anyhow.

for the mean time, what can i do that will keep i nice sounding exhaust. My next project after the exhaust is getting rims and a rear end with gears. Maybe a stereo also. Gas is 4.05/gallon and i work at steak n shake plus im a student. So obviously not a lot of $$$ coming in right now.

I had a question. I just got my new exhaust put on and was wondering is there a break in period for the mufflers or is that some bullshit i read somewhere? I read somewhere after driving a while on them they sound better.

mufflers tend to get a lil louder after a period of time
