divorced dual fab?

how hard is it to fab your own dual exhaust? will i be wasting my time if i buy two flow 40s, remove the old exhaust from the mids back, and put straight pipes coming from the stock headers? autozone has 2.5" piping, can i weld that to fab my system?

I have my uncle, who is a master welder and fabbed his entire system for his fox. as far as bending go, autozone has tons of 2.5" pieces, including different degrees of bends, so I shouldn't have to bend any pipe- just use the pre-fabbed pieces. plus i can go to lackland afb and use their hydrolic lift to make it even easier
