Center Console

i was wondering if anybody knew how to remove the center console.i have already removed 4 bolts, 2 up front below the radio and 2 in the compartment in the armrest. when i try to take the console off the e-brake keeps me from removing it. i think if i remove the boot from the e-brake then i would be able to take the console off but i dont know how to take the boot off and cutting the boot off is not an option. thanks

idk about removing it but buying a new boot is only a few bucks...if you must then cut.
