Im Not Leaving Yet
hey im not leaving for another couple weeks. i was just wondering if its good to get a 4.2l longblock. tell u the truth i have no; idea wat it is. can someone help me please.

a 4.2 long block is a 3.8 stroked to a 4.2 and it has every thing you need to bolt it up (other than the tranny)...a long block is a engine with the heads and the intake....a short block doesnt have the heads or intake

so is it better than modding the 3.8 or no and do u know how much pple usually spend modding there cars.

it would be the same thing as stroking your 3.8....and it all depends on what you want to do to your car.....if you want to go all the way your looking at spending alot of money but just mild you wont spend but a couple of grand

Long tubes are the best flowing headers. The thing is if you have emissions testings in your state which most states do you may not pass inspection.

uhh well do u find out the emisions test for a state. id ask u but i live in new mexico so i dont think u would know. no offense.

uhh i got stuck on something is the high flow catalytic system the same as the catback systems or r they different if they r which is better or do i just put both in

alright il ask a friend who know some pple who work for a saab car shop he'l prob know a bit about it but how do they get u to take those tests.
