a stock 4.0 is wut 210hp and 240tq? and a stock 99-04 gt is 260hp and 302tq? it doesnt feel much faster cuz your car is modded. lets put the same mods on that gt than compare. even a stock gt has ~25rwhp over you and about 50rwtq more

if you didnt want a flame war you shouldve probly titled your topic something else

ive beaten lightly modded gts with my 99 v6... but if i would have had a gt with all my mods i have on the v6 it would be crazy fast... i love my v6 and everything but would take a gt any day.

i dont think this kid will ever be happy...he had an 04 v6...sold it for the 05+ v6...now he wants something else...

I just don't really want a v6. It's nothing about being happy. I just always wanted a v8 mustang.

04 and lower GTs are slow. point blank.
its amazing truly how much fast a 4v is over a 2v GT. its like night and day. its worse then GT and V6.
whats a s/c mach make next to a s/c GT..
or Turbo mach next to a turbo GT

nitrous to nitrous. Ive seen a bolt on mach with a 150shot raise the fronts (stock motor) almost hit the wall on 3rd so he let off and run what a GT would run with the same mods. . going str8 he ran 11.6s on a horrible night
since he only did it once that night too.

i just think its funny when GT guys compare they're 2vs to the 4vs and say how they save money over the 4vs but its not the same for a v6

I'm with ya.... which is why I still have a v6... if I'm going to get a V8, it's going to be a 4v, so I'm saving up

as it's been stated before... the GT mustang is like the V6 of the V8 world...
