haha it wont affect me...i mean its true....now a modded gt on the other hand can do some damage, but then again a modded 6 can make a stock gt look like a bitch too...

LOL Ive drievn 05+ 4.0's and own an 02 GT. I have gears, exhaust and a Nitrous tune and my 02 feels way stronger than a tank S197 4.0. When i hit the spray, theres about 1-2 factory mustangs that come close to me....actually, just one.

the GT's are the 2v (except 05+ which is 3v)

4v's are the special editions, like the mach1, cobra...

go to you tube and look at a stock gt 0-100.. you will find yourself saying wow this is taking forever. You dumped money into your gt. And nitrous is putting tons of wear and tear on your motor. A full bolt on 2v gt can barely break into the 12's pathetic.

12s with slicks or a good DR and a very lengthy list of bolt ons including suspension and at sea level
otherwise those things practically live in 13s

nitrous lives in 12s 100-125 shot bolt ons even cam'd
s/c and turbo varries

Yea that's what i was saying. I didn't make this thread to bash the gt owners. Just that I wouldn't waste my money on one. I mean all people say is V8 V8... when in reality the gt mustang is not much of a performer.

stock for stock AND mod for mod the v8 will always outperform a v6. It's just the nature of the beast. take a stock 6 cyl and line it up with a stock v8 and the 6 will lose.
take blown forged 6 and line it up with a blown forged 8 and the 6 will lose.
fuck what you bought the car for. when modding comes into play you have to pay to play.

To late on wasting money. j/k

A V8 is a V8. If we all had money we would have badass 4v. But i couldnt spend the money my limit was 12gs and a GT is what i could afford. Bang for the buck you cant beat a GT. Thats the bottom line. Or the 5.0s but its alittle harder to find a decent 5.0 imo
