There is still an open invite for any of you sixxers who want to prove that your car is faster than a pathetic 2V...........

I just think it's hilarious that these types of threads get started every so often, but not one of the supposed fast sixxers would run me at my 100% vs. their 100%.

Also, to the OP, I imagine the GT didn't feel much more powerful than the new 4.0. It is common knowledge that the stock 2V only lays down about 215-225 HP in stock form and you claim to have 200 RWHP. It's pretty simple to understand.

this has to be the stupidest thread ive ever seen. 6'ers vs. the v8's, even tho we all have the same car. you ever think about the people who put the mustang down in general? go bitch them out, not eachother.

Bang for buck stock/not ripping the motor up or spending 2gs on one mod.. a GT is the best bang. 5.0 too but you have to dig alittle more to find one with low mil and decent interior, or just get lucky.

Waste of money on a GT to me is buying an newedge for 16k with say 30/40kmil when you can get a Mach or 99/01 cobra for that. Whats the price of a new V6..alot more than my GT was thats for sure.
that is by far the most incorrect STATEMENT EVER
I can pick up a rebuilt fox for $3k here. and thats A LOT Here. do h/c/i and blow the piss out of a GTs, and cobras for 1/3 the price

same thing...buy a used V6...you can get em for like $5k..GT is still going to be no less then $8-9k for the same year (99-04) and the v6 will blow it out...

honestly and truly hmusn is right
there is no way around the fact of a fox being cheaper
i can grab a shell for $1k and a crate 351w not even assemble it to save the extra $$$ and still be MUCH cheaper then a v6 used even and blow out cobras and GTs

only mustang i know with $5-7k in TOTAL money to buy a car and all and hit 10s is going to be a fox
done

for me this has nothing to do with a V6 being a good cost of money over a GT or cobra
or the better way to go.
2v 4.6 is truly one of the slowest V8s ever made
3.8 V6 mustangs its just sad that buick 3.8s can run 7s and were only in the 9s
of course the aftermarket is much different but relating to other V6s.. or 6cylinders...
supra needed 25psi to break just over 600rwhp
2 V6 mustangs only needs 16 and 17psi not even fully tuned yet.
one on pump

you can make any car fast though and crazy...
for say look at acmillrs GT. made what many would doubt on just motor alone and makes awsome numbers with nitrous. just sad he wont hit a track =p

thats just a 2v GT
but look at 302s with just h/c/i
or 347strokers that make insane numbers
and what about an ls1, forged bottom, h/c/i bolt ons and 300shot....damm garuntee thats going to be 9s easy!

in the end THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK IS A FOX!
a 2v GT stock is slow
a v6 mustang stock is stupid slow

a chris torres...well thats one in a billion =P
